Our Story

The “GoldenKlomp” symbolises what we want to express through our cooking. For us, the wooden shoe, which is called a ‘klomp’ in Dutch, is the symbol of traditional craftsmanship. Just like the ‘klomp’, we use traditional ways of preserving food, such as fermentation, curation, dry ageing and many more.

The golden triangles in our logo represent the modern, complex ways of preparing food for our guests - perhaps one day it will be for you.

Working with food that is in season is like a dream come true for every chef. But at the same time, being a chef, my hands are tied with the reality of running a kitchen in a restaurant these days.

But not anymore!!!

Preparing, cooking and serving meals directly for you brings endless possibilities. Contact with the chef not only gives you the opportunity to learn about what you eat and where the food comes from, but also, what is in season at the moment, and how to choose which wine fits perfectly with your dishes. Also, the chef can tell you the story of what the inspiration was and what is behind our creation. All this will give you an exquisite experience, and bring you to another level of dining.
